Challenge
In parallel with managing a greenfield project, an existing production site had to be closed and the entire manufacturing operation relocated to a new plant.
Planned duration: 8 weeks – without production downtime and without jeopardizing delivery capability.
Intervention
- Early coordination with customers and targeted pre-production of critical products.
- Meticulous planning of the machine relocation and defined time windows for dismantling and recommissioning.
- Simultaneous realignment of the layout in the new plant to a productivity-oriented structure.
